Dr Navin Rajagobal is the Deputy Director of the Centre for International Law at the National University of Singapore. He also teaches international law and institutions, and foreign policy and diplomacy at the Kent Ridge Campus. Dr Navin has over 15 years of international relations and public policy experiences with institutions such as the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, and PUB Singapore. Trained by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations, he has represented Singapore at international negotiations relating to the United Nations, ASEAN, IAEA, Small Island Developing States, and others. Dr. Navin also serves as a District Councillor for a Community Development Council and is a member of Mensa Singapore, a forum for intellectual exchange and betterment of society through charitable and volunteer activities. He has a doctorate from Monash University’s School of Political & Social Inquiry, where he was a recipient of the Australian Commonwealth Government’s International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) and the Monash Graduate Research Scholarship (MGRS).
