Adjunct A/P Edmund Sim, Partner, Appleton Luff, and an Associate of CIL, teaches the course. This is the first course in the world on ASEAN EC Law and it seeks to address the increasing integration and legalization efforts of ASEAN after the ASEAN Charter was ratified in 2008.
The seminar discussed the ASEAN Charter, ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement, ASEAN Comprehensive Investment Agreement, ASEAN Framework Agreement on Services, ASEAN Protocol on Enhanced Dispute Mechanism, ASEAN’s free trade agreements and other aspects of the ASEAN EC.
A/P Sim and the class wish to thank DSG Pushpanathan and Ambassador Carden for their hospitality in hosting them.
