On 24-26 January 2024, CIL Research Associate Daniel Pakpahan attended the first Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) Tribunal Secretary Training Programme for 2024, held in Singapore at Allen & Overy LLP. The Programme was led by Dr. Noam Zamir (Associate Professor at City University of Hong Kong) and Ms. Dong Long (HKIAC Managing Counsel).

Daniel is accredited as a tribunal secretary listed on the HKIAC database after successfully passing the written assessment component of the Programme. As an extension of its tribunal secretary service, HKIAC has trained and accredited over 200 qualified tribunal secretaries since the establishment of the globally recognized program in 2015.
