Railla Puno of the Climate Change Law and Policy Programme at the Centre for International Law attended the 2024 UNFCCC Bonn Climate Change Conference as a delegate of the National University of Singapore on 10-13 June 2024. The Conference hosted the 60^th Sessions of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation and the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA). Draft decisions were negotiated by Parties in preparation for the 29^th Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan in November 2024.

The 4^th Ocean and Climate Change Dialogue, a mandated event under the SBSTA, was also held during these days. Railla participated in the breakout group discussions moderated by Joanna Post of IOC-UNESCO and Valentina Germani of UN-DOALOS, bringing forward CIL positions on the priority topics identified by Parties and observers: 1) Marine biodiversity conversation and coastal resilience and 2) Technology needs for the ocean – climate action, including finance links.
