On 11 and 13 November 2023, CIL Senior Research Fellow, Charalampos Giannakopoulos, participated in the online workshop “International Politics, Policies and Geopolitics in the BRICS+ and Gulf Countries”, where he presented a paper entitled “The Gulf Cooperation Council and its Member States: Emerging Inter-Regional Players?”. The workshop was jointly organized by LABOPPI – Federal University of São Paulo and the College of Public Policy – Hamad Bin Khalifa University.
