With the rules-based system facing strong headwinds, there’s a need for those of us who practice international law and diplomacy to help others understand the value of international law by making it relevant to their everyday lives. It’s no longer enough to talk about the importance of the rules-based system. What does international law mean in practice for all of us and, as international lawyers, what is our role in advocating for it?
