CIL was pleased to host the visit of Judge Rudiger Wolfrum, Director of the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, Germany, to the Centre as a distinguished visitor from 16-19 April 2012. Professor Wolfrum has been a member of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) since 1996 and served as its President from 2005-2008. Judge Wolfrum delivered a talk on the dispute concerning the delimitation of the maritime boundary between Bangladesh and Myanmar in the Bay of Bengal on 17 April 2012 as part of the CIL Distinguished Speaker Series.
