Book Launch: Fifty Years of ASEAN and Singapore

Singapore Foreign Minister Dr Vivian Balakrishnan launched a book titled Fifty Years of ASEAN and Singapore edited by CIL Chairman Prof Tommy Koh, CIL Associate Director Ms Sharon Seah and former Deputy Director of the Institute of Policy Studies Ms Chang Li Lin. Fifty Years of ASEAN and Singapore is a collection of essays written by diplomats, government officials, academics and civil society representatives who contributed to the work of ASEAN over the last five decades. The book launch, which was held in conjunction with the ASEAN Day Reception and attended by 1,200 guests, marked the 50th year anniversary of the founding of ASEAN.
