Under the administration of Minister Susi Pudjiastuti, Indonesia has seen an unprecedented reform in its fisheries law and policy. This article focuses on some of the most important measures that the Minister has taken to improve fisheries governance and combat fisheries crimes. The article also discusses Indonesia’s cooperation with ASEAN in combating illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing.
