The ESI-CIL Nuclear Governance Project organised a closed-door session on ‘Nuclear Governance in the Asia-Pacific Region: Impediments and Opportunities’ for Singapore government officials on 16 November 2016 at the Energy Studies Institute (ESI). The session started with a short presentation by nuclear governance expert Dr Trevor Findlay, followed by an informal discussion. Dr Findlay is a senior research fellow at the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Melbourne and an associate of the Project on Managing the Atom at Harvard University’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. The closed-door session was attended by close to 20 Singapore government officials from six different ministries and agencies.
