The Centre for International Law of the National University of Singapore (CIL) is pleased to announce the launching of the “CIL eAcademy 2020”. Between September and December, the CIL eAcademy will offer an online advance training course on international law and practice. The primary audience will be academic, early career professionals and government officials principally from Asia.

To mark the official launching of the CIL eAcademy 2020, a public roundtable e-discussion entitled: “Roundtable conversation: International Law and Asia: Looking to the Future” will take place on 7 September at 4:00 pm Singapore time.

The roundtable will discuss, among others, issues such as: the impact of Covid-19 on international law and institutions; the growing rivalry between the US and China and its impact on international law; the impact of climate change and technological developments on international law; and how small countries like Singapore can/should navigate the “new normal”.
