ILA Committee on Baselines under the International Law of the Sea: Open Intersessional Meeting

Introduction

The International Law Association (ILA) Committee on Baselines under the International Law of the Sea held an open intersessional meeting on 9 December 2015 at the NUS Bukit Timah Campus.

The meeting, chaired by CIL Senior Visiting Research Fellow Captain J Ashley Roach and the Committee’s Rapporteur Professor Don Rothwell of Australian National University, considered preparations for the Committee’s final report on straight baselines to the ILA biennial meeting in Johannesburg, South Africa in August 2016.

Members of the Singapore ILA branch and other interested persons were welcome to attend. Details on the Committee’s work may be found on the ILA website Committees – ILA.
