The MFA-SCP Programme on Green Climate Financing was convened by the Singapore Civil College.  The programme features the financing mechanisms available to support climate change projects and sustainable infrastructure development, as well as to share Singapore’s active measures in various areas to build a climate resilient future. The participants comprised of mid- to senior-level foreign government officials involved in policymaking related to (i) climate change; (ii) climate finance projects and related fields. In session 2 “Singapore’s Reaffirming Commitment to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change”, Danielle Yeow presented on (a) the international climate change legal framework under the UNFCCC, Kyoto Protocol and Paris Agreement and (b) Singapore’s progress under the UNFCCC including her national circumstances and impact of climate change in Singapore’s context.
