On 11 July 2022, Senior Research Fellow Charalampos Giannakopoulos participated in the conference “International Trade and Business Law: Present and a Decade Ahead”, which was organised by the University of Law, Viet Nam National University.

During the conference, Dr Giannakopoulos presented ongoing research of the Investment Law and Policy team on the challenges and opportunities of adapting the design of structural, multilateral reforms to the existing system of investor-state dispute settlement so as to adequately meet regional concerns. The case of ASEAN and its member states was used as a case study during the presentation.
