10 December 2020: ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights – Indonesia hosts discussion on book ‘Can ASEAN Take Human Rights Seriously’

On Human Rights Day, Thursday 10 December 2020, Dr Tan Hsien-Li and Professor Alison Duxbury (University of Melbourne) discussed their co-authored book ‘Can ASEAN Take Human Rights Seriously’ at a webinar hosted by the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights – Indonesia (AICHR Indonesia). The discussants included Bapak Achsanul Habib, Director, Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Indonesia; H.E. Yuyun Wahyuningrum, AICHR Representative of Indonesia; H.E. Eric Paulsen, Representative of Malaysia to AICHR; Atty. Glenda T. Litong, Member of Human Rights Victims’ Claims Board of the Philippines, Professor at University of the Philippines; and Dr Bencharat Sae Chua, Mahidol University.
