Research Fellow Nivedita S participated in the 2021 virtual Annual Meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) International Nuclear Security Education Network (INSEN) held from 16 to 20 August 2021. INSEN is a partnership through which the IAEA, educational and research institutions, and other stakeholders cooperate to promote sustainable nuclear security education. The Centre for International Law (CIL) became a member of the IAEA INSEN in February 2020.

The 2021 Annual Meeting provided an update on past year activities as well as highlights of plans for future activities of the three INSEN working groups that focus on (i) exchanging information and developing teaching materials for nuclear security education; (ii) faculty development and cooperation among universities; and (iii) promotion of nuclear security education.
