Ms Danielle, Yeow, Lead Climate Change Law and Policy, at the invitation of the Indonesia Carbon Capture Storage Centre (ICCS), moderated a plenary panel on "The Current State and Challenges of Carbon Capture Storage: View from the Governments" at the 2nd International and Indonesia CCS Forum 2024 in Jakarta on 31 Jul 2024. The ICCS Forum is hosted by the ICCS and supported by the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. The panel featured Jodi Mahardi, Deputy for Coordination of Maritime Sovereignty and Energy, Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs, Republic of Indonesia; Noor Arifin Muhamad, Director of Oil and Gas Engineering and Environment, Directorate General of Oil and Gas, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Republic of Indonesia; Alex Milward, Director of CCUS/CCS, UK Department for Energy Security & Net Zero; Xie Cheng, Principal Staff Member, Department of Climate Change, Ministry of Ecology and Environment, The People's Republic of China; Michael Malavazos, Director Energy Regulation Division, Department for Energy and Mining, Australia; and Alexander Engh, Deputy Director General Climate, Industry and Technology Department, Norwegian Ministry of Energy.
