15 March 2024: CIL Director Dr Nilüfer Oral was Invited to Speak at a Panel at the Coalition for Addressing Sea-level Rise & its Existential Threats (C-SET) Retreat with Senior Thematic Experts 

This is a one-day retreat on sea level rise with the 12 C-SET members (Antigua & Barbuda, Bangladesh, Costa Rica, Denmark, Germany, Malta, Morocco, New Zealand, Palau, Republic of Korea, Romania, and Tuvalu. Nilufer spoke at Panel #2 on International Law & Law of the Sea together with Prof. Patrícia Galvão Teles, Co-Chair of ILC & ILC Study Group on sea-level rise in relation to international law and Prof. Juan José Ruda Santolaria, Co-Chair of ILC Study Group on sea-level rise in relation to international law.
