Railla Puno was invited to speak online regarding her UNFCCC COP negotiations experience by the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) on 25 April 2025. APRU is a network comprised of over 61 leading universities linking the Americas, Asia, and Australasia, APRU (the Association of Pacific Rim Universities) brings together thought leaders, researchers, and policy-makers to exchange ideas and collaborate on practical solutions to the challenges of the 21st century. APRU's Certificate in Global Climate Change Leadership is a roleplaying exercise in which about 300 students from various economies and disciplines form multi-disciplinary teams to play the role of delegates to the UN Climate Change Negotiations.
