Organising the Public Bureaucracy to Ensure Effective Implementation and Compliance with ASEAN Commitments

The purpose of this module is twofold: (1) to enhance the participants’ understanding of policy implementation in the ASEAN countries, and (2) to identify the best practices for organising the ASEAN public bureaucracies to ensure effective implementation and compliance with their ASEAN commitments.

The module contains seven sections to address these objectives.

  4. The policy contexts in the ASEAN countries
  5. The implementation of the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive  
  6. The implementation of ASEAN countries’ activities in combating transnational crime
  7. Suggestions for enhancing the implementation and compliance with ASEAN commitments by their respective public bureaucracies
