CIL warmly congratulates the participants and trainers of the 2025 ASEAN Law and Policy Academy, which welcomed 80 participants from 17 countries across Asia from 4-8 August 2025.
The programme featured an opening lecture by Singapore Ambassador for International Law and Chair of CIL’s Governing Board Ms Rena Lee, followed by lectures on the rule of law and institutions in ASEAN, current issues facing the region, dispute settlement modalities and specialisation courses on the ASEAN Economic Community and ASEAN and Foreign Relations. Participants also attended the CIL ASEAN Distinguished Lecture by ASEAN Secretary-General Dr Kao Kim Hourn. The Academy concluded with an academic conference on 19 August 2025.
