On 25 April 2011, CIL Director Robert Beckman launched Gerd Droesse’s edited volume “Funds for Development: Multilateral Channels of Concessional Financing”. The book examines the concessional windows of the AfDB, ADB, CDB, IFAD, World Bank Group, and other multilateral development banks and financial institutions. A rare and in-depth insight into the governance, institutional and legal structures of such international institutions, the book is a valuable guide for all persons interested in concessional financing and the law of international organisations. Gerd Droesse is the Lead Specialist on Institutions and Coordination in the Office of the Secretary, Asian Development Bank (ADB).
