CIL participated in the Asian Society of International Law and Indonesian Society of International Law (ISIL) Conference (download eFlyer), “International Law as a Political Instrument?” in Jakarta on 10 June 2010. Held at the Constitutional Court, the 8th anniversary of ISIL commemorative seminar discussed “The place of international obligations in the domestic legal order of States” and “Using political approach in decision making for international legal issues.” CIL was represented by Prof Tommy Koh, Prof Walter Woon, Dr Navin Raj and Ms Sari Aziz. Prof Simon Chesterman, a CIL Associate, also participated.
