CIL is pleased to announce that Chang Ya Lan has joined CIL as a Research Associate. Ya Lan holds an LLB (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and an LLM (Distinction) from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to joining CIL, she interned with the Appeals Division of the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, Netherlands. She was also an Associate in the Enforcement Division of the Capital Markets Department of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and an Associate in the Litigation Department of Allen & Gledhill LLP. At CIL, Ya Lan will assist with CIL’s interviews with Ambassador Satya Nandan, and conduct research on international investment treaty law and ASEAN law and policy.
