I appreciated the well‑structured learning materials and the way each lesson connected seamlessly to the next. The programme’s design made it easy to grasp the overall flow while deepening specific skills. Equally valuable was the network we built with fellows, which provided opportunities to share experiences and insights beyond the classroom.

Thank you for the opportunity to learn about contemporary issues in ASEAN and how ASEAN can remain relevant and resilient in today’s geopolitical conditions directly from the experts. The programme provided new insights and in-depth perspectives, which deepened my understanding and helped me gain a comprehensive view on the ASEAN business process. These insights will be valuable for strengthening my work. Thank you CIL for organising this programme.

I particularly appreciated the Academy’s well-structured programme, which combined legal, economic, and policy perspectives on ASEAN. The sessions provided valuable insights into ASEAN institutions, economic integration, dispute settlement, regional resilience, and emerging challenges. I also appreciated the opportunity to engage with distinguished academics, practitioners, policymakers, and participants from different countries. The combination of theoretical discussion and practical perspectives was particularly useful for my teaching and research.

The foundational learnings which were then backed up by interactive sessions, in particular I enjoyed learning about ASEAN centrality and then putting it into practice with a real world adjacent group exercise.

I appreciate the practical advice on teaching ASEAN Law and Policy and how to stay longer in academic life.
