Dispute Settlement |
Pursuant to Article 8.2, “[t]his Protocol and its Annexes shall form an integral part of the [1998 ASEAN Framework] Agreement [on the Facilitation of Goods in Transit].” Article 30 of the 1998 ASEAN Framework Agreement on the Facilitation of Goods in Transit refers to the consultation and dispute settlement rules and procedures in the 1996 Protocol on Dispute Settlement Mechanism. Subsequently, the 1998 ASEAN Framework Agreement on the Facilitation of Goods in Transit was one of the “Covered Agreements” pursuant to Article 1.1 of the 2004 ASEAN Protocol on Enhanced Dispute Settlement Mechanism read together with its Appendix I. |
