Dispute settlement provisions	Article 21 of the 2004 ASEAN Framework Agreement for the Integration of Priority Sectors: “The ASEAN Sectoral Integration Protocols attached to this Framework Agreement as Annexes (I) to (XI) and the total product list attached as Annex (XII) shall form an integral part of this Framework Agreement.” Article 23 of the 2004 ASEAN Framework Agreement for the Integration of Priority Sectors: “The provisions of the ASEAN Protocol on Enhanced Dispute Settlement Mechanism, done at Vientiane, Lao PDR on the 29^th day of November 2004, shall apply to disputes arising under this Framework Agreement.” This Protocol is one of the ‘Covered Agreements’ pursuant to Article 1.1 of the 2019 ASEAN Protocol on Enhanced Dispute Settlement Mechanism read together with its Appendix 1. The 2019 Protocol will only apply with respect to new requests for consultations made on or after its entry into force (20 June 2022). Likewise, the 2004 Protocol will only apply with respect to disputes that arose after its entry into force (29 November 2004). The 2004 Protocol applies to all other disputes.

Annexes	Appendix I: Roadmap for Integration of e-ASEAN Sector Attachment I: Coverage of the e-ASEAN Products Sector Appendix II: Negative List of the e-ASEAN Products Sector The appendices of this Protocol have been amended by the 2006 ASEAN Sectoral Integration (Amendment) Protocol for Priority Sectors pursuant to Article 5.2 of the former.

Entry into Force / Termination Provisions	Article 5.3 ‘Final Provisions’: “This Protocol shall enter into force on 31 August 2005. Notwithstanding the specified date of entry into force, Member States undertake to carry out the obligations which arise prior to the date of entry into force of this Protocol in accordance with the timelines indicated in the Framework Agreement for the Integration of Priority Sectors and the Roadmap for Integration of e-ASEAN Sector attached to this Protocol.”

Additional Information	Note Article 4 ‘Appendices’: “1. The Roadmap for Integration of e-ASEAN Sector shall be Appendix I to this Protocol and shall form an integral part of it. The negative list in relation to the e-ASEAN sector shall be Appendix II to this Protocol. 2. Additional measures other than those identified in the Appendix I may be introduced, as and when deemed necessary through an amendment pursuant to paragraph 2 of Article 5 of this Protocol.”
