Article 6: Entry into Effect, Duration and Termination “6.1 This Memorandum of Understanding will come into effect on the date of signing by the authorized representatives of the Parties and will remain in force until 31 December 2015, unless it is extended through mutual agreement in writing by the Parties. 6.2 Notwithstanding the provision in the preceding paragraph, either Party may terminate this Memorandum of Understanding by notifying the other Party of its intention to do so by a notice in writing at least six (6) months prior to its intention to do so. 6.3 The termination of this Memorandum of Understanding will not affect any agreement or undertaking concluded or entered into during its duration which will be fulfilled in accordance with the provisions of such agreement or undertaking and will not discontinue any ongoing project and agreed arrangements of mutual cooperation and joint activities under the said ongoing projects.” |

Article 6.1 of this MOU states that it will remain in force until 31 December 2015 unless it is extended by mutual agreement in writing by the Parties. It is unclear whether such agreement was made. However, the ASEAN Secretariat Resource Centre site lists this MOU as “In Force” as of the time of this update. |
