Additional Information

This declaration established the hierarchy of the ASEAN Committee on Food, Agriculture and Forestry (COFAF) as the implementation body of the ASEAN Agricultural Ministers Meeting. The Agricultural Ministers Meeting was later integrated into the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Food, Agriculture and Forestry, with the Senior Officials’ Meeting on Food, Agriculture and Forestry (SOM-AMAF) as the main implementing body.

This declaration also established the ASEAN Agricultural Research Coordinating Board.
