The ASEAN Agricultural Development Center was to have been established in Bangkok as an initiative of the ASEAN-United States dialogue relationship, with a grant contributed by the United States government. The project was discontinued. However, the ASEAN Centre for the Development of Agricultural Cooperatives was established following the 1984 ASEAN Ministerial Understanding on ASEAN Cooperation in Agriculture and Cooperatives. |
