This Agreement is one of the ‘Covered Agreements’ pursuant to Article 1.1 of the 2019 ASEAN Protocol on Enhanced Dispute Settlement Mechanism read together with its Appendix 1. This Agreement was previously one of the ‘Covered Agreements’ pursuant to Article 1.1 of the 1996 Protocol on Dispute Settlement Mechanism read together with its Appendix 1, as well as one of the ‘Covered Agreements’ pursuant to Article 1.1 of the 2004 ASEAN Protocol on Enhanced Dispute Settlement Mechanism read together with its Appendix I. |

Additional Information |
This Protocol renamed the ASEAN Economic Ministers Meeting on Energy Cooperation as the ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting and mandated that the meeting should be held annually. Lao PDR acceded to this Agreement via the 1997 Second Protocol for the Accession of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to ASEAN Agreements. Myanmar acceded to this Agreement via the 1997 Second Protocol for the Accession of the Union of Myanmar to ASEAN Agreements. Cambodia acceded to this Agreement via the 1999 Protocol for the Accession of the Kingdom of Cambodia to ASEAN Agreements. |
