Additional Information |
As a main output of the APMI, this regional strategy was developed to provide a common framework for peatland management in the region in the period 2006–2020. Prior to its endorsement by the ASEAN Ministers for the Environment, it was also endorsed by the 22nd Meeting of the ASEAN Senior Officials on the Environment (ASOEN)-Haze Technical Task Force on 15-16 November 2005. The 2006 ASEAN Peatland Management Strategy was revised on 23 September 2013 with the Updated ASEAN Peatland Management Strategy (2006-2020). |
