The programme provided legal and policy officials with practical insights into the arbitration and dispute settlement process for international economic agreements. At this unique programme, participants were divided into ‘claimant’ and ‘respondent’ teams and were given a mock case to prepare for and put forth at a mock international arbitration held at the Moot Court of the NUS Faculty of Law. Thus, participants obtained an applied understanding on the proceedings and dynamics of an investment arbitration.

Participants who attended the programme were from the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC), Economic Development Board (EDB), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and Ministry of Law (MinLaw).
