CAPACITY BUILDING OPPORTUNITY FOR FORUM MEMBERS
ON CURRENT INTERNATIONAL LEGAL ISSUES

A virtual capacity building opportunity on international legal issues and developments related to a number of Forum priorities, in particular climate change and resilience, oceans, sea-level rise and related issues.

These virtual courses are also available (at a fee) to representatives from CROPs and CSOs.


The Centre for International Law (CIL) of the National University of Singapore will deliver virtual four weekly 3-hour courses specially designed for Forum Members. The courses will cover a basic overview and understanding of international law concepts, rules and related issues on the following topics – (1) Introduction to International Law, (2) COP26 and Climate Ocean issues, (3) The Law of Statehood, and (4) International Human Rights Law with a focus on sea level rise-related issues.


There will be a course syllabus and suggested reading material provided in advance.
Participants will receive certificates of completion at the conclusion of the course.
