The CIL is once again delighted to be collaborating with the American University Washington College of Law and other partners in the Fifth Annual Symposium on Cyber and International Law. The theme for this year's instalment, "Exploring the Frontiers of Active Cyber Defense—International Law and Emerging State Practice", explores the complex legal questions implicated by States' shift towards active cyber defence, and the normative developments in the face of the evolution of states' views on international law applicable to cyber operations and emerging State practice.
