CIL Director Robert Beckman and Senior Principal Research Fellow Christopher Thomas QC were pleased to welcome Sir Frank Berman KCMG QC, Dr Gérardine Goh Escolar and Professor Chester Brown to Singapore for the first Experts’ Meeting on CIL’s new focus area, International Dispute Resolution, to brainstorm potential research projects. The meeting took place from 18-19 May 2015 in Singapore.The Experts were joined by a select group of eminent practitioners in the field and engaged in a lively and stimulating exchange of views. Ultimately, the Experts reached a consensus on the research projects that are of most interest and significance for CIL to undertake. CIL wishes to thank the Experts and practitioners for their time and contribution, and looks forward to further collaboration with them.
