The S Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) of the Nanyang Technological University and the Centre for International Law (CIL) jointly hosted the 4th meeting of the Ocean Policy Institute Network in the East Asian Region (OPINEAR) in Singapore from 24-25 November 2011. The Meeting was attended by OPINEAR members, such as Ocean Policy Research Foundation (Japan), Center for South East Asian Studies (Indonesia), Coastal and Ocean Management Institute (China), Maritime Institute of Malaysia and Korea Maritime Institute. CIL Director Professor Robert Beckman and CIL Adjunct Senior Research Fellow Youna Lyons gave presentations on Singapore’s policy and institutions on ocean and coastal governance.
