The CIL Nuclear Law and Policy Team is joined in conversation by Dr Charles McCombie, an independent strategic and technical advisor to numerous national and international radioactive waste management programmes. In this episode, Dr McCombie shares his views on the issue of whether deep geological repositories are a potentially sustainable solution to manage radioactive waste. He also introduces the concept of multinational repositories and discusses the benefits and challenges surrounding them.
