Professor Antony Anghie awarded the 2023 Manley O Hudson Medal by the American Society of International Law


Professor Antony Anghie has been awarded the 2023 Manley O Hudson Medal by the American Society of International Law. Professor Anghie is the Head of the Teaching and Researching International Law in Asia (TRILA) Programme of the Centre for International Law at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is also a Professor of Law at NUS Faculty of Law, and University of Utah, College of Law. He is currently the Secretary-General of the Asian Society of International Law, and co-Editor of the Asian Journal of International Law.

The Manley O. Hudson Medal is awarded to a distinguished person of American or other nationality for outstanding contributions to scholarship and achievement in international law. Professor Anghie’s scholarship, teaching and insights have had a profound and transformative influence, particularly among young scholars, on the field of international law and international legal scholarship.
