Manisha is a Research Associate with the Centre for International Law (CIL) at the National University of Singapore and a part of CIL’s Nuclear Law and Policy Team.
She holds a Masters in Law (Global Sustainability and Environmental Laws) from the University of Ottawa (uOttawa), Canada as well as a B.A. and LL.B. (Honours) from the National Law Institute University, Bhopal, India.
Prior to joining CIL, she was a research assistant at uOttawa, working on various projects including a knowledge synthesis project on impact assessment laws within global extractive industries and a project to prepare for a new course to be taught at the Faculty of Law on the environmental impacts of Covid-19. She has also worked with ILC panel member Dr. Yacouba Cissé, (who is also a visiting professor at uOttawa) to produce reports and memos to be presented to the ILC during its 72nd session. She also has experience working as a legal executive with a Singapore-based MNC.
