Digvijay Rewatkar is a Research Associate in the Ocean Law and Policy Programme at the National University of Singapore Centre for International Law. He holds a LLB from Gujarat National Law University, India and an Advanced master’s in public international law from Leiden University, the Netherlands.
His current research interests are public international law, law of the sea and international institutional law. He has written about deep seabed mining, continental shelf and maritime security issues. He has previously worked at the Rashtriya Raksha University, UN International Law Commission, and International Committee of the Red Cross. He has attended international law and law of the sea academies in China, the Netherlands, Germany, and South Korea. Committed to advancing international law, he contributes to discussions from an Asian perspective with an emphasis on balanced regional viewpoints.
