Miguel is a Research Associate at the Centre for International Law, contributing to the ASEAN Law and Policy Team. He earned his law degree at San Beda University (Philippines) and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2017. In 2022, he completed his LLM in European and International Business Law at Leiden University (the Netherlands) where his thesis provided a comparative analysis of the EU and ASEAN in terms of trade in goods. His research interests focus on ASEAN Law, the ASEAN Economic Community, as well as Trade and Investment Law.
