Vincenzo is a PhD candidate in international law and European Union law at the universities of Geneva and Bologna (double degree). Before joining CIL, he worked as a teaching and research assistant at the University of Geneva, was a visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge, participated in and coached teams for Moot Court competitions in EU Law and Human Rights Law and interned at The Hague Academy of International Law and Université Grenoble-Alpes. Engaged in legal and scientific research since 2018, Vincenzo has also been assistant editor of the Leiden Journal of International Law and participated in developing various e-learning modules at the University of Geneva. Since university studies, he has been committed to protecting human rights and the environment in various organisations, and he is one of the ambassadors of the Green Rights Coalition.
Vincenzo’s education includes an Advanced LL.M in Public International Law at Leiden University, a Master’s degree in European Law at Université Grenoble-Alpes (Idex scholarship of excellence), both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, during which he also studied for one year at Université Paris – Nanterre (Erasmus+ scholarship).
