Bethan’s primary field of research is within Business and Human Rights Law. Bethan completed her PhD at Jesus College, University of Cambridge. During her doctorate studies, Bethan spent time as a Doctoral Researcher on the Cambridge-Harvard Link at Harvard Law School. Bethan also holds an LLM (International Law) from Newnham College, University of Cambridge and a BSc Philosophy and Politics from the University of Bristol.
Bethan is a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and called to the Bar of England and Wales (call year 2020). Bethan has acted as a Legal Consultant for a number of years on behalf of British Telecommunications Plc.
Bethan has taught on a numerous courses related to her field of research, including undergraduate courses on Human Rights Law and Jurisprudence at the University of Cambridge, and postgraduate courses on Private Law and Human Rights at the University of Cambridge, and Business and Human Rights at Harvard Law School.
Bethan is a casual rower and full-time Yogi. In 2020 she obtained a 200 YTTC in Ashtanga-Vinyasa Yoga from the Sampoorna School in Goa and can usually be found on the mat.
