The Investor-State Mediation Resource Pack
The Centre for International Law is pleased to share its Investor-State Mediation Resource Pack, designed to support government officials, in-house lawyers and their counsel in considering mediation as a means of resolving Investor-State disputes.
WHY THIS RESOURCE PACK?
Although mediation can offer unique benefits in Investor-State disputes, presenting it as a potential avenue for dispute resolution within a government, company or legal team can be challenging.
The Pack provides practical tools to help practitioners address common concerns through a user-friendly question-and-answer format. It also features an interactive self-assessment tool to help parties evaluate whether mediation may be suitable for a particular Investor-State dispute.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
The Pack comprises four sheets:
- Two general sheets – relevant to both governments and investors.
- Two party-specific sheets – tailored to the perspectives of governments and investors, respectively.
Each sheet can be used independently, allowing readers to select the resources most relevant to their needs and circumstances.
