CIL organised the ‘CIL ASEAN Charter Series 2010: Workshop on Implementing Legal Personality and Privileges and Immunities‘ on 16 August 2010 in Singapore. The workshop covered the four topics:

• Regional application of international law principles and practices
• ASEAN charter provisions on legal personality
• Practical issues in implementing the ASEAN Charter Provisions on Legal Personality in ASEAN member states
• 2009 ASEAN Privileges and Immunities Agreement

This workshop report covers the presentations and discussions on the topics, and recommendations to be considered by CIL, the ASEAN Secretariat, and ASEAN and ASEAN member states.
