CIL and the International Cable Protection Committee (ICPC) jointly organized a 1.5 day workshop on the protection of submarine cables on 14-15 April 2011 in Singapore. The workshop was co-chaired by CIL Director Robert Beckman and ICPC international legal advisor Douglas Burnett.

This report summarises the workshop’s discussions, and recommendations for cooperation between governments and industry at the national, regional and global levels.
