Public International Law

Overview

The Public International Law Programme aims at promoting knowledge -building of general international law to a broad audience, including scholars, government officials and practitioners from around the world. As the leading centre for international law in Asia, the programme seeks to promote a diversified approach and understanding of international law.

The Public International Law programme covers a range of different areas of general international law through its annual 15-week intensive Singapore eAcademy of International Law, the Distinguished Speakers series and other courses and events. The topics covered include general international law topics such as treaty-making, international law-making, international dispute resolution as well as more specialized areas such human rights, international humanitarian law, international criminal law, international migration law and more.

The CIL Blog is also part of the PIL programme, covering a range of cutting edge topics.
