Visit by Andrew Cayley QC, UN Chief International Co-Prosecutor of ECCC, Khmer Rouge Tribunal


CIL was pleased to a host a visit to the Centre by Andrew Cayley QC, the United Nations Chief International Co-Prosecutor of the ECCC, the Khmer Rouge Tribunal. Mr Cayley presented a seminar attended by 90 participants on “International Criminal Law in Practice: The Challenges of Prosecuting and Defending Mass Atrocities” on 5 October 2012. Mr Cayley also met with CIL Governing Board Deputy Chairman Prof Walter Woon and CIL Deputy Director Dr R. Navin. CIL is also pleased to update that H.E. Bagas Hapsoro, ASEAN’s Deputy Secretary General for Community and Corporate Affairs, participated in the seminar by Mr Andrew Cayley.
