Research Fellow Nivedita S was invited to participate in the UN75+3 Conference focussing on the theme “Sustainable Global Levelling Up: The Role of Technology, Policy and Communities in Reducing Inequalities”, organised by Nottingham Trent University (NTU) and held virtually on 27 February 2023. She was part of a panel organised by the Nottingham Law School on “The role of new nuclear energy technology (Small Modular Reactor) and its regulation in ameliorating energy trilemma inequalities and imbalances”, where she gave a presentation on small modular reactors and the challenges they pose to the energy trilemma (energy security, affordability and sustainability) and the opportunities present for laws and regulations to address them.
